Move to Australia (movetoaustralia.co) is run by Wonderlings, an Australian business. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Your email address, if you sign up for the moving checklist or our updates.
• Your story and contact details, if you choose to take part in one of our migrant interviews.
• Anything you send us by email.
• Usage information, such as the pages you visit, your rough location, device and browser, collected through cookies and analytics tools like Google Analytics. This tells us which guides help people, and it does not identify you by name.

How we use it

We use your email address to send you what you asked for, and occasional updates about new guides. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We only publish interview stories with your permission, and only in the way you agree to. We never sell your personal information.

Who else handles it

We use a few trusted services to run the site: Kit (our email provider), Google Analytics, and our website host. Some of these store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. They only use your information to provide their service to us.

Cookies

Cookies are small files your browser stores. We use them for analytics and to keep the site working. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@movetoaustralia.co. If you have a complaint, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
